Donated Gel Pens from Queens NY Inside the Pen Guy's Hard Hat

This batch of pens were donated and sent in by Nick and Steph all the way from Queens NY. One thing I ask is that when you send pens in please include an email or find me on Facebook so I can properly thank you.

Any ways I got a bag full of regular pens and also two bags full of Beifa Gel Ink pens jell pens which are great for projects that require benty pens. I covered my hard hat with them and created a pen tree on the inside driver door of the Mercedes Pens. They bend smoothly when heated with a heat gun which is good for me but not so good for the person who paid money for a pen that soon died. I always seem to get Gel Pens full of ink which means they don’t seem to last long and tend to dry up fast. If you find your self in that situation, no worries, once you send them in to me I will make sure they get a second chance in life to pursue other goals and purposes. Nick and Steph thanks a ton.

Wool Jacket Covered in Pens at Harrod Blank’s Automorphosis

Never mind the pained look on my face I really was having a good time wearing this wool jacket covered in a couple hundred pens at Harrod Blank’s movie premier called “Automophosis“. The movie looks into the minds and hearts of a delightful collection of eccentrics, visionaries, and just plain folks who have transformed their autos into artworks. I am not sure now that the hat coordinated with the jacket or the wanna be Mr. T Pen necklace made any sense at all, but the movie was good and we got some free pizza from some guy running for local office.

Pen Guy Shot In The Eye With PEN!!!

You know what they say “You’ll poke your eye out with that thing….” That thing was a dry erase marker I used to plug the leak in my sprinkler system Thursday morning. I was down there messing around with the knobs trying to fix it. Next thing I know I heard the sound of running water then a POP. I was directly over the pen when it shot me in the eye, man did that hurt. My eye filled with blood from a broken vessel so I went blind in my left eye for a little bit. I was driven to emergency and then sent to the eye doctor for further examination. I almost lost my breakfast as he was describing in detail what actually happened to my eye. But the good news is that I left the hospital with no major injuries, and some eye drops to put in over the next 3-4 days. The bad part is I will not be able to attend the Harmony Festival in Santa Rosa this weekend. I had a whole section of old pens removed on the Driver rear fender so the kids could put fresh pens on again. Now the car looks like a kitty after its been shaved for surgery.

Pen Guy Hard Hat 2.0

Pen Guy Hard Hat 2.0 Made from Gel Pens
I just finished the new Pen Guy Hard Hat 2.0. Now that I can bend Gel Pens with my (mind, I wish) heat gun I can do any curved surface. The corners of my bumbers need some pens, which I will get to in the next 14 days. I also have three more door panels to go.
