I recently went to a Business Expo last Thursday by The Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce which happened to be at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts. There were many business at the event and I knew they had my favorite item… FREE pens. I decided to go and visit and managed to collect about 20- 30 pens and connect with quite a few people who had seen my Mercedes pens art car around town. I left feeling that there was an opportunity here to do more for business in this area and help promote them in these interesting times we are living in. So I decided to feature every business and their pen here in Santa Rosa Ca, with a link to their website.
The first business that I felt I should feature on the Mercedes Pens is sonic.net, a full-service internet provider based in Santa Rosa who were the first ISPs to bring DSL access to the wine country. The history of how they got started is very interesting and you can read it on their page. The weird thing is that for a brief time Dale Jasper the CEO of Sonic.net and his wife lived on my street and I had the opportunity to say hi a few times on my way to work.
