My pen covered hard hat made the front page of SF360 a Daily News & Features from America’s Film & Media Frontier. Published by the San Francisco Film Society.
Eight first-year students in the Stanford MFA in Documentary Film program screened their works to a packed house Tuesday at the University’s Annenberg Auditorium, each between three and four minutes. Paul Meyers was one of those students who was first up with his documentary movie called ‘Penultimate’ about me the Pen Guy and the Mercedes Pens Art Car.
I got word back today from Paul saying the movie was a great success and people laughed and really enjoyed themselves. There was also many questions about the Pen Guy during the reception like how he found me and do I really drive that car every day. I missed this screening this time but Paul said there might be screenings of “Penultimate” in the future so I will definitely be going and letting you all know the details as I get them. Great Job Paul.

Brooke Inman created this collection of pen art called “Everything Color Circle”. I am not sure whats going on but its sure an impressive array of pens with a few pencils sprinkled in there. Any one with this kind pen collection is surely a friend of mine.
I drove by one of my pen drop off locations on my way home and picked up a grocery bag filled with used pens. Going through them I discovered a Ziploc bag filled with a 24 pack of assorted sharpies
The Mercedes Pens on the other hand is currently experiencing technical difficulties but will be up and running by the end of the week. The capacitors in clock inside the instrument panel is broken and is draining my battery. More on that later:)
These used pens just came in from Lake Geneva Michigan sent by Tia M. and triple bagged for safety. The pens came wrapped inside a Target bag within a USPS priority envelope within a brown paper envelope. Tia understands that these used pens are important to my one million pen project and wanted to make sure none were damaged during the shipping process.
Big shout out to Tia.
By the way, the blue bowl on the left side of the picture contains cookie dough.
