Its has been way too long since my last post so I wanted to break my blog fast by giving a big thanks to Tej over at Bic Promo Pens the #1 source for promotional, advertising, and logo pens. Pen Guy Collects 22,000 Used Pens So Far

Hi everyone, here is an update on my one million pen drive. So far I have managed to collect about 22,000 used pens of every kind. All this with the help of local thrift stores and mail in donations to my address.

I tried to get a sense of scale by posing in front of this giant pile of pens, still about 200k short of the world record. I also took a short video doing a walk around my pen collection:)

Pen Guy Scores a 24 pack of assorted sharpies

I drove by one of my pen drop off locations on my way home and picked up a grocery bag filled with used pens. Going through them I discovered a Ziploc bag filled with a 24 pack of assorted sharpies minus two colors. Actually finding brand new pens along with the used ones is quite typical. people often throw away brand new pens which is great for me because I haven’t had to buy any now for five years. As you can image I am well stocked up but keep sending them in, thank you:)

The Mercedes Pens on the other hand is currently experiencing technical difficulties but will be up and running by the end of the week. The capacitors in clock inside the instrument panel is broken and is draining my battery. More on that later:)
